A vented, dirt-floor crawl space pulls in humid air all summer and stays damp all winter — encapsulation seals that cycle off completely and it usually shows up on your energy bill within a season.

What "specialized" actually means for crawl space encapsulation at our company — not a marketing word, a set of specific practices.
Encapsulation done without understanding how air moves through a structure can trap moisture instead of controlling it; we design every system around your specific crawl space conditions.
Most Kalida, OH service areas can get an inspection scheduled within a day or two of your call.
No surprise charges for pier count or vent sealing — those are accounted for during the initial walkthrough.
Seams are heat-taped or mechanically sealed, and liners are run up piers and foundation walls, not just laid flat on the dirt floor.
Each service below is scoped specifically to crawl space encapsulation, not a generic waterproofing menu with the name swapped in.
Seams are taped and mechanically fastened at wall terminations so the barrier performs as one continuous system, not a patchwork of loose sheeting. This is the baseline fix for most crawl spaces showing chronic humidity above 60%.
We seal vents with rigid foam or vent covers as part of a full encapsulation, converting the space to a conditioned, sealed environment.
A properly sized dehumidifier, drained to a sump pit or gravity line, keeps relative humidity below the 55% threshold where mold and wood-destroying insects thrive. We size units to cubic footage, not square footage, since ceiling height varies a lot between crawl spaces.
We install a dedicated sump basin and pump sized for the space's water intake, tied into the encapsulation system's drainage channel.
Every encapsulation project includes a joist and subfloor inspection, and we flag any structural concerns before sealing the space, not after.
Four steps, start to finish — from the first call to a sealed, humidity-controlled crawl space.
Local dispatchers coordinate directly with crawl-space-certified technicians, not a general handyman pool.
You'll get a text confirmation with an arrival window before the technician heads out.
Pricing is itemized: liner and sealing, vent covers, dehumidifier if recommended, and any sump work needed.
We're glad to walk you through the finished space with a moisture meter so you can see the readings yourself.
